'standing post'

static exercise to develop postural points.

integral, though not overly emphasized, aspect of training.

standing is done in various postures for a few minutes to help you relax and line up to gravity. the body is scanned headed to toe, and relaxation is continually increased.

its very good for starting to wire in spinal elongation, and kua/foot alignment, as well as 'encouraging' upper body relaxation.....you find out pretty quick how much tension your holding after a few minutes....
