you must concentrate on 'back' and 'down'

back means the posterior plane of the body, particularly the spine, tailbone and heel.

the power is created by going down, not forward.

it is compression. the 'power' is a by product of the compression, like squishing a balloon. the balloon doesn't push back, it just compresses. that in itself creates force.

if you try to push a beach ball underwater, it 'resists' and bobs back up on its own. the farther under water you push it, the harder it shoots out of the water. ( work with me on that one.....)
